I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker in the state of Kansas and I obtained my Master’s of Social Work degree from The University of Missouri, Kansas City with over 15 years of experience.

My areas of focus are centered around aging, mental health, and veterans as well as focusing on PTSD, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. 

I’m trained in CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) for PTSD, CBT-Depression, as well as many other treatment modalities. Additionally, I am a certified yoga instructor.

My approach is strengths-based and I will provide a safe place to process your life experiences. I believe that every individual is unique and I will be here to act as your guide while you grow.

Meet Lisa and Heather

LICSW

Lisa MacDonald, LICSW has been in clinical practice working with adults for over 20 years. Lisa's clinical skills are a good match for those dealing with anxiety and depression, grief and loss conflicts, past and recent traumas, as well as relationship issues. Lisa has many years of
experience working with individuals in the Fire Services, Law Enforcement, Emergency Medical Services and she is also a Star Behavioral Health Provider for military connected individuals and
their families. She is certified in Critical Incident Crisis Intervention and Acute Traumatic Stress Management. She is also the Team Clinician for the Bristol-Norfolk Critical Incident Stress Management Team.

LICSW, LADC

Heather Gould, LICSW, LADC is both a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Heather earned a Master’s Degree from Boston University and she later went on to complete a fellowship at Harvard Medical School Division of Addictions. She has a broad range of professional experience in a variety of settings including inpatient medical hospital units, outpatient mental health agencies and substance abuse clinics as well as private practice settings. Heather is very experienced in treating depression, anxiety disorders, grief, trauma, relationship issues and chemical addition.
